General

Is Corvia a Catholic app?

Yes. Built by Jubilee and William Schneider, a Catholic husband-and-wife team, in alignment with Catholic teaching on the person. The Billings Ovulation Method was founded by two Catholic doctors and is the most widely used NFP method in the Catholic world.

Do I have to be married to use Corvia?

No. Understanding my cycle is for any woman who wants to understand her cycle without a family-planning frame. Married is for married Catholic couples using the Billings Method together. You switch between them any time.

Does Corvia work on my phone / iPad / computer?

Yes to all three. Corvia runs in your browser today, with iOS and Android apps in the pipeline. No app-store download required. Works on a shared family device too.

Who made Corvia?

Jubilee Schneider (CEO) and William Schneider (Operations). Husband and wife. See About.

Trial & Pricing

How does the free trial work?

You start Corvia free for thirty days, one full cycle for most women. You provide a card at signup so the trial ends smoothly if you decide to stay. If you cancel before day thirty, your card is never charged.

What does Corvia cost?

$59.99 per year ($5.00 a month) or $8.99 a month. One product. No hidden tier. See Pricing.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. One tap in your profile. If you cancel during the trial, you are never charged. If you cancel after, you keep access through the end of your billing period.

Do you offer a family plan or gift subscription?

Not yet. Both are on the roadmap. If you want to be notified when the gift-subscription flow ships, email hello@corviacycle.com.

The Method

What is the Billings Ovulation Method?

The Billings Ovulation Method (BOM) is a sensation-based method of reading the female cycle, developed by Drs. John and Evelyn Billings in the 1950s and 60s. It was studied in a five-country World Health Organization trial and is taught around the world by certified instructors. It relies on the daily observation of what a woman notices at the vulva. Not temperature, not urine hormones, not proprietary algorithms.

Does Corvia tell me when I'm fertile?

No. Corvia records what you observe and shows you the pattern. It does not determine fertility status, predict ovulation, or recommend intercourse timing. All cycle-related decisions remain with you.

Does Corvia assign my Peak Day?

No. Peak Day is user-confirmed only. When you log a dry or sticky day after a slippery day, Corvia asks: was yesterday your last slippery day? You answer. That is how BOM is taught, and that is how Corvia works.

Is Corvia a medical device?

No. Corvia is a general wellness product: a cycle charting and wellness education tool. It is not FDA-cleared and it does not need to be. See our intended-use statement for the full disclosure.

Does it work postpartum, breastfeeding, or with irregular cycles?

Yes. BOM is sensation-based, so Corvia works whenever BOM itself works. The learning period adjusts to your life stage (14 or 28 days) so the chart calibrates to what your body is actually doing now.

Privacy

Do you sell my data?

No. Not to advertisers. Not to insurance. Not to anyone. Ever.

How is my cycle data stored?

Encrypted at rest. Any intercourse data (Married, optional) is stored in a separate encrypted key domain and is excluded from every instructor view at the database level. Not hidden in the UI, absent from the query.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. One tap in your profile. We follow Washington's My Health My Data Act and California privacy law.

Do you train ML models on my observations?

Only with your explicit consent. The default is off. You can toggle it in your profile at any time. Turning it off is retroactive. Your data is excluded from any future training.

Instructors

Do I need a Billings instructor to use Corvia?

You do not need one to start. The learning paths are fully self-guided. For NFP practice with a spouse, working with a certified instructor is encouraged. Corvia supports read-only chart sharing when you are ready.

How do I link my instructor?

Every verified Corvia instructor has a six-character referral code. Enter it in your profile and your instructor is linked. She can then view your chart when you share it (read-only, seven-day expiring links, audit-trailed).

I'm a Billings instructor. How do I get on Corvia?

Request verification at For Instructors. Review is manual and we reply by email.

Mothers & Daughters

Is Corvia safe for a teenage daughter?

Yes. Beginning womanhood contains no fertility framing, no intercourse logging, and no ads. Designed for teen use. See For Mothers for the full walkthrough of what she will and won't see.

Can I use my account with my daughter, or does she need her own?

Each Corvia account charts one woman's cycle. If you want your daughter to use Corvia, she needs her own account. Family plans are on the roadmap.

What does she see the first time she opens Corvia?

A gentle welcome, a short guided intro to observing (the BIP tour), and her first daily check-in. No pressure. No form-heavy onboarding. See the Beginning womanhood page for the full experience.
