Every cycle-tracking app on the market was designed for a very different woman, usually a twenty-something planning or avoiding pregnancy. Corvia is different. Beginning womanhood was designed with your daughter in mind: gentle, observational, faith-formed, and completely free of the framing you would not want in her head at fourteen.

What your daughter will experience
A daily check-in: four soft questions about what she noticed today (sensation, appearance, bleeding, mood).
A quiet chart that builds slowly over her first months, showing her the pattern of her own cycle.
A short library of educational articles: what a period actually is, what the phases mean, how her body works.
A prayer surface with a daily prayer, a Rosary with weekly mystery rotation, Feast Days, and a Marian library.
A voice throughout the app that treats her body with reverence, in language rooted in the theology of the body.
No fertility status labels. Corvia never tells her when she is fertile or infertile.
No intercourse-tracking prompts. That surface does not appear for her at all.
No advertising. Ever. Not for anything.
No push notifications about her fertile days or her body's state.
No social feed, no community, no other users. Corvia is private, not social.
No links to external content she wouldn't want in her feed.
Corvia never sells your daughter's data. Not to advertisers. Not to insurance companies. Not to anyone. Ever.
Her observations are encrypted at rest in our database. Because Beginning womanhood contains no intercourse-tracking feature, there is no intercourse data collected in the first place.
She can delete everything at any time. One tap in her profile. We follow Washington's My Health My Data Act and California privacy law.
Corvia is a general wellness product, not a medical device. All decisions about her cycle stay with her. Nothing about the way the app is built pushes her toward any behavioral outcome. See our Legal & Privacy page for the full disclosure.
You do not need to give her an account cold. You can start Corvia yourself first, as a mother, for your own charting or just to see the app before she does. Then, when she is ready, she starts her own account and learns alongside you. Two accounts. Same conversations at the kitchen table.

Common questions from parents
Beginning womanhood is appropriate from menarche onward. Girls beginning their cycle at eleven or twelve can start there with a parent's account setup. The onboarding is gentle and age-neutral.
Only if she chooses to show you. Corvia does not have a parent-view feature. Her chart is private to her account, and Corvia does not send you notifications about her activity. This is a design choice, not a limitation. Body literacy is her formation, and it belongs to her.
The app doesn't manipulate her back. There are no streak counters, no guilt-inducing notifications, no lockout dark patterns. If she stops using it, she stops. Her data waits. She can pick up again whenever she wants.
No. One product, one subscription. Nothing else to buy inside the app.
Yes. When she is ready, she switches to Married from her profile. Her chart history comes with her.
