For married couples

Understand your fertility. Discern together. Leave room for God.

Natural Family Planning asks more of a couple than knowing which days are fertile.

It asks husband and wife to understand their fertility together, talk honestly about the life they are building, and prayerfully discern what God may be asking of their family.

Corvia brings the Billings Ovulation Method, shared charting, and Catholic prayer into one place, so the practical and spiritual sides of NFP don’t have to live separately.

More than charting

Your fertility belongs in the conversation.

Your cycle gives you real information about what your body is doing.

But within marriage, that information becomes part of something larger.

  • Is this a season to welcome another child?
  • Is there a serious reason to postpone pregnancy?
  • What does your family need right now?
  • What might God be asking of you?

Corvia cannot answer those questions for you.

It gives you a clearer understanding of your cycle, a shared place to communicate, and room to bring those decisions into prayer.

The chart gives you information. Discernment belongs to you, your spouse, and God.

Natural Family Planning is something you live together.

The observations happen in her body.

But the responsibility for your fertility belongs to both of you.

Corvia makes it possible to invite your husband into the experience without taking the chart away from you.

When you choose to share, he can see your chart, better understand where you are in your cycle, and participate more intentionally in the conversations and decisions surrounding it.

Not because he needs to manage your cycle.

Because this is something you are discerning together.

Built for marriage

One cycle. Shared understanding.

Observe.

Use the Billings Ovulation Method to record the sensations, appearance, and bleeding you actually experience each day.

No temperature taking. No fertility monitor. No algorithm predicting what your body should do.

Your observations remain at the center.

Chart.

Each observation becomes part of a visual record of your cycle.

Over time, you can recognize your own patterns and bring a clearer chart into conversations with your spouse or instructor.

Share.

Invite your husband into a read-only view of your chart whenever you choose.

You remain in control of your observations while giving him a clearer window into the cycle you are navigating together.

Discern.

Bring the practical realities of fertility into prayer.

Corvia gives you space for prayer, intentions, saints, feast days, and reflection alongside your chart, because decisions about family life involve more than data.

Fertility isn’t hers to carry alone. It is something a husband and wife are called to receive and discern together.

Why Billings?

Faithful to Catholic teaching. Grounded in the body God created.

Corvia uses the Billings Ovulation Method because it begins by respecting what is already happening in the woman’s body.

  • No devices.
  • No hormones.
  • No assumption that every cycle should look the same.

You learn to recognize the signs your body gives you and understand your fertility through daily observation.

For Catholic couples, that approach fits naturally with a larger understanding of marriage: fertility is not a defect to suppress or a problem to overcome.

It is part of the gift husband and wife bring into marriage.

The Billings Method gives couples a way to understand that gift and work with it as they discern whether to seek or postpone pregnancy.

Work with your fertility, not against it.

Openness to life doesn’t mean living without discernment.

Catholic teaching does not ask married couples to ignore the realities of their family.

Marriage calls spouses to generosity and openness to life, and also to responsible parenthood.

There may be seasons when a couple prayerfully hopes for another child.

There may also be serious reasons to postpone a pregnancy.

Natural Family Planning gives husband and wife a way to make those decisions without suppressing or altering the natural fertility of either spouse.

Corvia supports that process by helping you know what your body is doing.

The decision remains yours to make together.

With honesty. With generosity. With prayer.

Your marriage. Your discernment.

Prayer belongs beside the chart.

Some cycles carry hope. Some carry uncertainty. Some bring difficult conversations, sacrifice, waiting, gratitude, or grief.

Corvia was designed with room for all of it.

Your daily experience includes prayer alongside charting, with access to the Rosary, saints, feast days, and intentions you can carry through the season you are in.

Because NFP isn’t simply a technique for determining fertile days. For many Catholic couples, it becomes part of how they practice trust, self-gift, patience, communication, and discernment within marriage.

Your faith doesn’t begin when the chart ends.

Give your husband a window into the cycle.

You should not have to explain your chart from scratch every time fertility enters the conversation.

When you choose to invite him, your husband receives read-only access to the information you share.

He can see your cycle more clearly, understand the season you are navigating, and come into conversations with more context.

You can also share a prayer intention when you want him to know what is on your heart.

Less explaining. More shared understanding.

And sharing is always optional. Your chart remains yours.

Guidance when you need it

Your instructor can see what you see.

Natural Family Planning was never meant to leave couples guessing.

If you are working with a certified Billings instructor, Corvia lets you securely share your chart with her for guidance.

She sees the same observations and chart you see, making it easier to ask questions, identify patterns, and learn the method accurately.

Instructor access is read-only and available only when you choose to share it.

Your instructor helps teach the method. Corvia keeps the record clear.

Intercourse tracking, when you choose to include it.

For married couples, intercourse can be included alongside your cycle observations.

It is optional.

You decide whether to record it, and you decide whether that information is included when sharing your chart.

Corvia treats this information with the privacy and dignity it deserves.

Because intimacy is not simply another data point.

It belongs within the context of your marriage.

The Billings Method

Observe first. Interpret faithfully.

The Billings Ovulation Method begins with what you notice today, not what an algorithm predicts will happen tomorrow.

Corvia follows that same principle.

  • You record your observations.
  • You confirm your own Peak Day.
  • Your chart shows what you experienced.

Corvia does not automatically declare you fertile or infertile, apply Billings rules for you, or tell you whether to have intercourse.

Those decisions depend on your understanding of the method, your intentions as a couple, and, when needed, guidance from a qualified instructor.

Corvia helps you see clearly. It does not discern for you.

Responsible parenthood

The question isn’t simply, “Can we?”

It may be one of the most important conversations in your marriage:

Is this the right time to welcome another child?

There is no algorithm that can answer that.

You may consider your physical health, emotional well-being, existing children, finances, responsibilities, and circumstances that only the two of you fully understand.

And then there is the part that cannot be reduced to a checklist: prayer.

Catholic discernment invites couples to bring those realities honestly before God while remaining generous toward the gift of life.

Corvia was built to support that conversation, not replace it.

One method through every season of marriage.

The cycle you chart today may look very different from one you chart years from now.

  • Trying to conceive.
  • Postpartum.
  • Breastfeeding.
  • Irregular cycles.
  • Returning cycles.
  • Postponing pregnancy.
  • Hoping for another child.

The Billings Method is based on observing what your body is doing now rather than assuming what a cycle should look like.

Corvia stays with you through those changing seasons.

One method. A lifetime of understanding.

Common questions

Before you begin.

Does Corvia tell us when we can or cannot have intercourse?

No.

Corvia records and displays your observations. It does not automatically determine fertility status, apply Billings rules, or tell you when intercourse should or should not occur.

Those decisions remain with you and your spouse based on your understanding of the Billings Method and your family-planning intention.

If you need help interpreting your chart, working with a certified Billings instructor is encouraged.

Can my husband see my chart?

Only when you invite him.

Corvia offers an optional read-only spouse view so your husband can better understand your cycle and participate in your shared discernment.

You can change or remove access.

Can we track intercourse?

Yes.

Intercourse tracking is available within the Married experience and is optional.

It is treated separately and privately, and you control whether it is included when sharing information.

Do we need to be avoiding pregnancy to use Corvia?

No.

Natural Family Planning can be used both when hoping to achieve pregnancy and when discerning a need to postpone it.

Corvia helps you understand the same cycle in either season.

Does Catholic teaching allow couples to postpone pregnancy?

Yes.

Catholic teaching recognizes responsible parenthood and that spouses may discern serious reasons to postpone pregnancy while remaining open to the gift of life and respecting the nature of marital intimacy.

That discernment belongs to the couple before God.

Why does Corvia use Billings?

Because Billings begins with observation of the woman’s naturally occurring fertility signs rather than suppressing fertility or relying on predictions.

It is a well-established Natural Family Planning method used within the Catholic Church and fits Corvia’s conviction that the female body is something to understand and respect.

Do I need an instructor?

You can begin using Corvia without one.

For couples practicing the Billings Method for Natural Family Planning, however, learning with a certified instructor is strongly encouraged.

Corvia makes it easy to securely share your chart with your instructor when you want guidance.

What if my cycles are irregular?

Billings is observation-based rather than calendar-based.

You chart what you actually experience each day, which makes the method useful across many different cycle patterns and stages of reproductive life.

Is Corvia methodologically faithful to Billings?

Yes. Peak Day is user-confirmed only. There is no algorithm applying Rules 1 through 4. No forward ovulation prediction. No availability outputs.

The color system follows the WOOMB standard used by certified Billings instructors.

Does it work postpartum or while breastfeeding?

Yes. Corvia is sensation-based, so it works whenever the Billings Method itself works: postpartum, breastfeeding, and irregular cycles.

The learning period adjusts, 14 or 28 days depending on your life stage, so the chart calibrates to what your body is actually doing now.

Can I switch to Understanding my cycle later, or the reverse?

Yes. Both are the same subscription. Switch between them any time from your profile, and your entire chart history comes with you.

What about my privacy?

Corvia never sells your data. Cycle observations are encrypted at rest.

Intercourse data is stored in a separate encrypted key domain and is excluded from every instructor view at the database level. You can delete everything with one tap.
