How to observe · Lesson 7 of 19 · 2 min read
As you observe, you'll come to know your baseline, your Basic Infertile Pattern. It's simply your own normal on the quiet days.
For many women it's dryness. For others it's an unchanging discharge. Same feel, same look, day after day.
What matters is that it's steady. In the Billings Method, steadiness is the mark of a non-fertile time. Fertility is always change.
Which means the moment your pattern changes, it's worth your attention. That change may be the very first sign your body is beginning to prepare.
You can't get your Basic Infertile Pattern "wrong." It reveals itself over time, as you keep recording what you notice.
